Day by Day

  1. Day 1

    NJP / IXB to Gangtok

    Met on arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport and driven to Gangtok (5,500 ft), about 120 km and five hours. Check in and the rest of the day is free. Overnight in Gangtok.

  2. Day 2

    Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After breakfast, the excursion east to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft), 55 km each way. If the road is closed for landslide or weather, alternative sightseeing is provided. Overnight in Gangtok.

  3. Day 3

    Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi

    On to Pelling (6,300 ft), about 150 km and five hours, stopping at the Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and the Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) at Namchi. Overnight in Pelling.

  4. Day 4

    Pelling sightseeing, skywalk included

    A full day out. Morning: Darap village, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake and the Khangchendzonga falls. Afternoon: Pemayangtse Monastery, the Rabdentse ruins and the new helipad ground. Overnight in Pelling.

  5. Day 5

    Pelling to NJP / IXB

    After breakfast, check out and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, about 136 km and five hours.
